Afternoon Enrichment
The Afternoon Enrichment Class takes place at the conclusion of the child’s preschool class. The children enrolled in the Afternoon Enrichment Class from Preschool II and Pre-Kindergarten will be taken by their classroom teachers to the Afternoon Enrichment classroom. Children will provide their own lunch each day as our preschool. No children’s lunches will be warmed or refrigerated due to spacing logistics as well as time contraints to warm and serve 14 lunches. Child to teacher ratio is 2:14.
Lunch 12:10pm – 12:45pm
Gross Motor Development 12:55pm- 1:20 pm
Circle Time with theme story 1:30pm-1:40pm
Creative and Concept Enhanced Activities 1:40pm – 2:15pm
Gross motor development 2:20pm – 2:50pm
Snack will not be served since the children will have just eaten the lunch they brought to school.
For the 2026-2027 school year, Afternoon Enrichment is open only to children enrolled in either Preschool II or Pre-Kindergarten morning classes and must be potty trained.

$80.00 annual supply fee
Available only to children enrolled in Preschool II and Pre-Kindergarten of the current school year with a maximum of 14 children enrolled.
Enrollment for the Afternoon Enrichment Class is on a first come,
first served basis to any enrolled Sonshine Preschool child.
Afternoon Enrichment will not be offered to families not currently enrolled within Sonshine Preschool.
Afternoon Enrichment has a minimum of five children enrolled with a maximum of 14 children enrolled.
